The Board of Governors has established admissions criteria to be applied in the event of the school being oversubscribed. The criteria are listed in order of priority.
Admissions criteria for entry to Year 1 1. Any child who is compulsory school age 2. Any child who presently has a brother/sister (half-brother/sister) enrolled in the school. 3. Any child who had a brother/sister (half-brother/sister) enrolled in the school. 4. Any child who has family connections with the school:
either parent attended the school
either parent employed in the school
5. Any child who lives within a 3 mile radius of the school. 6. Pupils who live nearest to the school as measured by public roads.
Admissions criteria for entry to Year 2 to Year 7 1. The admission of a child can be accommodated within the school's enrolment number. 2. The admission of a child into a particular class will not, in the opinion of the Board of Governors, prejudice the provision of efficient education or the efficient use of resources. 3. In arriving at a decision the Board of Governors will take into consideration reports from the child's previous school regarding his/her behaviour. They may also take into consideration any other relevant reports. The school will in the professional judgement of the Principal and Board of Governors be able to meet the needs of the child. If the above are satisfied the following criteria will be applied in order 1. Any child who presently has a brother/sister (half-brother/sister) enrolled in the school. 2. Any child who had a brother/sister (half-brother/sister) enrolled in the school. 3. Any child who has family connections with the school:
